Never wearing heels, she lives to wear wedges or sandals or even boots. To her, high-heels are for emergencies only. Her signature accessory would always be a scarf around her neck. Her older sister by five years, Marissa-Anne (Marie) was her only friend back then. Starting at the age of eleven, she followed in her sister's footsteps and was enrolled into many private schools or boarding schools. By the time she was sixteen, she had been through seven private/boarding schools. Because her parents always wanted the best for their children, Millie had been put into boarding schools in both Europe, US and Canada. Because of that, she was fluent in French and Italian. When she was thirteen, her little brother Dominic Percy Monroe was born. Unfortunately, she could only spend time with him during the summers because of being in boarding school. Because Marie had chosen the path of becoming a psychiatrist, her parents wanted Millie to take over the company when she finally graduated (hopefully) Princeton. After many protests, she half-convinced her parents to support her dream of becoming a novelist. It was when she was fifteen that she experienced her first love and heartbreak. She was in a boarding school in Canada and could only stay for another semester before she decided to move to Wellspring Academy. Usually, her parents were the ones who chose which school she would attend but for this, they did not argue. She avoids talking about her past to anyone for fear she might be called a "Mary Sue" -- which she hates. She tries telling everyone that just because she comes from a "privileged" family and has gone through several private/boarding schools (four of them were in Europe) and the fact that she speaks two other languages, does not make her perfect. gallery smile!
